At Balkan Film Lab, we develop, scan, and print in-house. Whether it’s color negative, black & white, ECN-2 or E-6 every roll gets the attention it deserves. With over 20 years of experience and thousands of rolls processed, your film is in safe hands.

Choose your service

Choose the service you want, add it to your cart, pick your return postage and pay. When we’re done we will email your scans and send your negatives back to the information provided at checkout.

Pack up & send your order

Pack your film securely, include your order number inside, and send it to us with Speedy for free. You can also drop it off at one of our convenient drop boxes.

Get your photos back

After processing and scanning, you’ll get another email with a link to download your images. Finally, we’ll package your negatives, any film, merch or cameras ordered and send them back to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

We develop 35mm and medium format.This can be colour negative (C41), black & white, cine film (ECN-2), and even cross-processed slide film (E6 in C41). If you’ve got an unusual format or a special development request, just contact us.

We aim to keep turnaround times under two working days. During seasonal rushes, demand can sometimes push that window a little longer, but the most up-to-date turnaround times are shown on our homepage.

Once your order is placed, package your film securely, including your order number, and drop it off at a Speedy office. Request delivery to Balkan Film Lab 0897845936—this shipping option is free for our customers. Alternatively you can use one of our Drop boxes.

If you forget to include an order number in your parcel, we won’t know who it belongs to. If you realize after sending it, contact us with a description of the package and film, making sure to include the missing order number. If we receive any parcels without an order number, we’ll post them on Instagram to try and locate the owner.

You can pay by cash or card when you drop off your film.

Payment

Payment can be made either by card when placing your order or by cash on delivery. If you pay by card, your scanned images will be sent to you as soon as they are ready. If you choose cash on delivery, your negatives will be returned via the courier with a payment request, and your scanned images will be sent once payment has been received.

Yes! Our shop is now open. You’re welcome to drop off your film for processing, browse and purchase fresh film from our fridge, or simply stop by and say hello.

Film is not cheap, and a blank roll can be really frustrating. if this happens, dont worry, we will refund the cost of any services carried out on the film. Just our way to make it suck a little less.

As a small lab we are lucky to be very flexible, contact us and we will try our best to fulfill your request.

Send your film to us - for free

You can send your film to us free of charge. Simply pack it securely, include your order number so we know it’s yours, and drop it off at any Speedy office. Ask for it to be sent to Balkan Film Lab – 0897845936.This ensures it goes directly to our locker, and the delivery costs are covered by us.
