What films do you develop?

We develop 35mm and medium format.This can be colour negative (C41), black & white, cine film (ECN-2), and even cross-processed slide film (E6 in C41). If you’ve got an unusual format or a special development request, just contact us.

Do you develop disposable cameras?

Yes! Select the colour or black & white processing page, depending on the disposable type, and make sure to choose “disposable” as the film type. Then, send the whole camera to us.

How long does it take?

We aim to keep turnaround times under two working days. During seasonal rushes, demand can sometimes push that window a little longer, but the most up-to-date turnaround times are shown on our homepage.

How do I send my film to you?

Once your order is placed, package your film securely, including your order number, and drop it off at a Speedy office. Request delivery to Balkan Film Lab 0897845936—this shipping option is free for our customers. Alternatively you can use one of our Drop boxes.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made either at checkout or upon delivery. If you pay by card at checkout, your scans will be delivered as soon as they are ready. If you choose payment on delivery, your negatives and any products ordered will be sent with a payment request, and your scans will be delivered via WeTransfer once payment is confirmed.

Do I get my negatives back?

We always return your negatives using your preferred shipping option. If you do not wish to have them returned, simply select “Dispose of my negatives” when placing your order.

Can I drop my film off at the lab?

The film lab is not currently open to the public, but you can arrange to drop off your film by contacting us or via Instagram. Alternatively, you can use one of our drop boxes.

What if my film is blank?

Film is not cheap, and a blank roll can be really frustrating. if this happens, dont worry, we will refund the cost of any services carried out on the film. Just our way to make it suck a little less.

What do I do if I forget to include my order number?

If you forget to include an order number in your parcel, we won’t know who it belongs to. If you realize after sending it, contact us with a description of the package and film, making sure to include the missing order number. If we receive any parcels without an order number, we’ll post them on Instagram to try and locate the owner.

Can you push / pull my film?

Yes, we can push / pull your film up to 2 stops for no extra charge but results can vary by film.

Can you develop souped film?

Yes, we can develop souped film. Just let us know the roll is souped in the checkout order notes and we will develop it separately.

I want a process not listed, can you do it?

As a small lab we are lucky to be very flexible, contact us and we will try our best to fulfill your request.
