Scan Resolution

Low Res
1500 × 1000 pixels (≈1000 dpi) • ~700 KB
Ideal for web use, social media and Instagram.

Medium Res
3000 × 2000 pixels (≈2000 dpi) • ~3 MB
A great balance between image quality and file size. Perfect for social media and everyday use.

High Res
6000 × 4000 pixels (≈4000 dpi) • ~15 MB
Our highest-quality JPEG scan. Ideal for large prints, archiving and image editing.

High Res + Overscan
6000 × 4000 pixels (≈4000 dpi) • ~15 MB
Includes the full image area, including the film border and rebate.

16-bit TIFF
6000 × 4000 pixels (≈4000 dpi) • ~130 MB
An uncompressed 16-bit TIFF using the same resolution as High Res, preserving maximum image data for professional editing and archival.

16-bit TIFF + Overscan
6000 × 4000 pixels (≈4000 dpi) • ~130 MB
An uncompressed 16-bit TIFF including the full image area, film border and rebate for maximum editing flexibility.

We aim to keep all turnarounds under 2 working days.

Things can get a little busier during the summer rush and turnaround can sometimes go up, check the home page for current turn around times.

Our working days are Monday - Friday.
Notes

If your film is not cut we will cut 35mm negatives into strips of five and 120/medium format negatives into strips of three—let us know if you need them left uncut!

We scan half-frame film as single frames by default; if you prefer two images per frame, please add a note on the cart page.
